Eric Schneider wanted his compact New York apartment to accommodate separate cooking, sleeping, entertaining, and working areas. Local firm Normal Projects’ solution was to knock down most of the existing walls in the space and concentrate the kitchen storage, closet, bar, bed, and office into a single transforming cabinetry unit.
