A 4 year renovation of a historic 1880's town home located in the Compton Heights Historic District in St. Louis, MO. From floor to ceiling, this home has been brought back to its original brilliance while offering the convenience of modern amenities. From gutting the kitchen and bathrooms to completely overhauling the landscaping there was nothing left untouched. The goal was to highlight the historic features that make the home unique while also adding the modern touches to give this home a truly glamorous feel.

We bought 1909 Virginia in 2014 and little did we know we had started a project that would take four years to complete. It is safe to say we were in a little over our heads. We couldn't of completed it without our friends and family helping us, even though we're pretty sure they thought we were crazy. The first round of renovations were brutal. It took three months of taking up several layers of floors, installing an entire new kitchen from the studs, and lots of Kilzs paint in order for it to be livable and for us to be able to move in. We always had the plan of flipping this house in order to pay off our student loans, which thankfully has finally happened!
