Project description
Anandi, nestled among the scenic Satara’s skyline with captivating mountain views, is a
tranquil and vibrant abode for a nuclear family. This residence seamlessly combines
traditional aesthetics with modern sensibilities, offering a harmonious blend of functionality
and serenity.
The design incorporates elements that mimic the surrounding landscape, making the home
visually appealing and in tune with its environment. The expansive windows ensure ample
natural light flows into the living areas, enhancing the bright and airy atmosphere.
Inside Anandi, the interior design showcases a fusion of traditional and contemporary
elements. The traditional aesthetics pay homage to the rich cultural heritage of the family,
while the modern touches add a touch of sophistication and convenience. The decor
features a tasteful mix of handcrafted furniture, vibrant textiles, and intricately designed
artworks, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.
The layout promotes seamless movement and connectivity between different areas,
allowing family members to engage in various activities while maintaining a sense of
togetherness, ensuring that every family member can find their own personal retreat within
the sanctuary of Anandi
Double-height entrance lobby and spaces create a sense of grandeur and spaciousness. The
skylight provides ample natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day
and improved ventilation. The skylight allows occupants to connect with the outdoors,
providing glimpses of the sky and potentially even stars at night.
Overall, such a design element combines aesthetics, functionality, and a connection to
nature, creating a welcoming and visually appealing entryway to a building saving energy
and creating well-lit atmosphere.
Pastel-colored kitchen trolleys and cabinets bring a fresh and charming aesthetic to the
kitchen space making it visually pleasing and feeling more inviting.
Creating a master toilet with a private landscape featuring dense bamboo plantation offers
sense of natural tranquility and privacy, creating a bathroom space that feels refreshing,
visually appealing, and connected to the outdoors.
A traditional wooden balcony opening in the courtyard provide a charm and warmth which
beautifully connects indoor and outdoor spaces enhancing the overall beauty of home. It
can be tailored according to specific needs.
Gomukh fountains are not only decorative but also hold cultural and religious significance in
Hindu traditions, symbolizing purity and abundance. They can enhance the aesthetics and
ambiance of the outdoor space while providing a soothing sound of flowing water.
A water body with lilies at the entrance verandah of a house, adds a natural touch to the
entrance, making it more welcoming and aesthetically pleasing.
A fabricated staircase is a combination of metal and wood which create a visually striking
contrast that adds to the overall aesthetic of the lobby. It can give the space a modern and
sophisticated look with a touch of warmth. Metal fabrication ensures the structural integrity
and durability of the staircase, making it safe for everyday use. The wooden steps, on the
other hand, provide comfort and a pleasant tactile experience.
Anandi is designed to foster a sense of tranquility and peace, providing a respite from the
hectic pace of daily life. Its breathtaking location amidst the Satara's skyline and the
Mountain View, combined with its functional and serene experiences, serves as a constant
reminder of the beauty and grandeur of nature.
