Apartment Renovation in Prague

Located in the district of Libeň, Prague, our recent renovation project involved the transformation of a 35sqm apartment in a residential building dating back to the early 20th century. The primary objective of the project was to create a comfortable and character-filled space designed for temporary stays, when clients visiting the city

Our design strategy was all about breaking up the original tight layout of just two rooms into four distinct functional areas. But we wanted to keep things feeling open and breezy. We aimed to make sure these spaces flowed seamlessly together. While working on the reconstruction, we discovered and reopened the original door size between rooms. This, combined with pocket doors and high windows, adds a sense of unity to the apartment and brings an intriguing touch to the design.

So, what's the layout like now? The first room has been cleverly divided into an entryway with storage solutions and a practical bathroom. Right in the middle, the kitchenette and bar seating take center stage, becoming the heart of the layout. The second room, with a window looking out to the street, has been turned into a cool leisure area for all sorts of activities.

One standout feature of our design is the use of Detale's dark green stucco. It's not just a visual choice; it helps define different areas in the apartment, giving off a warm and inviting vibe. And it's not just about looks – the dark green stucco also helps tie everything together, creating a harmonious atmosphere throughout the apartment.

In a nutshell, our project combines smart spatial planning with artistic finesse. The result? An apartment bursting with character that invites visitors to enjoy its unity and elegance.
