Crisp White & Blue-grey Kitchen project completed in Mooikloof, Pretoria. This kitchen shows that using shaker-style doors does not necessarily mean that the kitchen end up to be a traditional country-style kitchen. By using shaker doors with a combination of satin white Duco (with black granite counter tops and kick plates) and Blue-grey Duco (with white quartz counter tops and kick plates) and keeping the design open (uncluttered), one can accomplish a Modern twist to an old classic.
This project entailed that we had to use the current kitchen layout, cabinetry (carcasses) and countertops; but totally revamp the look from a 20 year old dreary beech veneer kitchen (so 90’s) to a modern, crisp kitchen. Our installation team replaced all the doors and panels with white satin duco shaker doors and panels. We also added a new Island / cooking area with grey-blue satin duco shaker doors and panels with crisp white quartz counter tops and kick plates.
