We found ourselves in the Salamanca neighbourhood with a penthouse in a building built in the 60's, very compartmentalised and not very functional, and we were surprised by how, having a spectacular terrace, it went unnoticed in the interior of the house. The clients, Felix and Isabel, wanted the kitchen space to be the heart of the house to enjoy the family's activities and give the terrace the prominence it deserved, and Clap worked so that the kitchen island became the element that articulates the activities of the house. The workbench and the workshop module from Bulthaup's b2 series were perfect to achieve this goal. The terrace window was maximised to visually extend the living room and, when the weather permits, the terrace becomes an extension of the living room.
