Cozy Cottage in North Carolina

This kitchen and home renovation was designed by trending TikTok couple Adam and Jessica Miller of Old House Adam. When investors planned to purchase and demolish the 1900s home in Concord, North Carolina – previously considered the “ugliest home in town” by locals – the Millers stepped in to work their makeover magic.

After a long-haul renovation, during which the pair discovered snakes in the rotting walls, dummy grenades in the front lawn, and soda cans under the floorboards, Adam and Jessica completely transformed the home into an open, light-filled cottage with custom and antique elements throughout that uphold the original vintage quality of the home.

Looking to replace the original 1950s refrigerator due to the terrible environmental implications of the refrigerant, the Millers turned to a Big Chill 30” Classic Fridge to maintain the character of the original appliances and win modern functionality.
