Draycott Residence

Designed by Singapore-based studio Perinelli Design, Draycott Residence is a timeless and welcoming abode in the heart of the city.
Home to an expat couple from India, their two children based overseas and a domestic helper, it is elegant – but not extravagant.
After being based in Singapore for 10 years and living in rented condominiums, the family decided to look for a property to purchase. Draycott 8, their current location, was perfect. The condominium, while centrally located, is set on a quiet street away from the city’s hustle and bustle and is enveloped in greenery. They acquired a unit on a low floor with all windows looking out to a lush tree canopy – a key factor in their decision as they preferred a view of trees to that of an urban skyline. Perinelli Design was then appointed to transform the 2,900sqft apartment into a home.
The apartment’s design is a balance between luxury and comfort, with crafted elements and quality materials and finishes. Designer furniture from various brands as well as custom made pieces, along with curated artwork add to a balanced mix of colour and texture. For a space well suited to both entertaining and functional everyday family life, careful attention was paid in planning its spatial flow and creating a balance between impressive focal points and thoughtful, functional details.
Developed around the family requirements and character, the interior design brings out the individuality of each family member, yet maintains a cohesive look and feel.
