From Métamaison

Located on a 1.5 acres lot of Mont Shefford, QC Canada, the project designed by PERCH Architecture and carried out by Métamaison blends into the forest like a house in the trees.
Architecture and nature are in constant complementarity. The ubiquitous fenestration naturally guides the gaze towards the forest and the surrounding mountains. The two covered outdoor terraces of the second floor are continuities of the interior living space. The orientation of the building has also been thought out to optimize natural light throughout the day.

Close to numerous mountain activities, as ski, mountain bike and hikes, one hour from Montreal, this project offers to experience architecture in nature.

The interior space has been optimized to minimize the building's footprint on the natural environment, without limiting comfort. The property offers an open plan living area, three bedrooms and a two-island kitchen allowing unparalleled functionality without overloading the space in height.

The aesthetics and durability of the contemporary and refined ensemble is obtained thanks to the great attention to detail of the architect and contractor and the choice of materials used.
