We have long, cold winters here in Buffalo. When our clients approached us and wanted to bring a little bit of Mexico inspired living to their basement, we jumped at the opportunity. Using consistent materials throughout that brought warmth and texture to the space, we were able to create a little oasis that still feels warm with three feet of snow outside. This area is used for casual entertaining but also includes a gym and a pool bath. In the warmer months the flow inside to outside is enhanced by window walls that can open all the way to the patio and the pool.
