From Johnston Design Group

The original foundations of the Owner’s former fire damaged home provides the geometry for a new modern expression. Wood and steel combine with water in this natural setting to inspire a sense of balance and simplicity. The form and openings are intentionally organized to promote passive ventilation and connection to outdoor terraces, pool, and natural landscape amenities. Additional design features include intentional day lighting, geothermal climate control, passive rain water harvesting, and use of native plants in landscape design.
