Modern 60's apartment in Athens

The aim of the project was to design and renovate an one bedroom apartment in a typical apartment building of Athens.
The project's objective was to modernize the space an create an interisting outcome. The concept was about colorfull 60's style. Therefore, a palette of deep blues and greens were used, with metallic accents and warm colours as a base.
In the living room, one wall was covered with a custom-made bookcase that serves as a tv stand and a seating area as well. The kitchen, having a straight line layout lays beside the bedroom and leads to the balcony of the other side. Inside the bedroom a colorful pattern was created on the wall to frame the bed that touches the wall on its one side. Finally, the bathroom was done with a combination of patterns on tile laying and with a significant presence of color.
