This modern farmhouse is nestled in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Built on the client's family land, the home will provide a multi-generational living space. The Architect, Selin + Selin Architecture, worked closely with the builders, Smith & McClain, to build a net zero house, designed to Passive House standards.

- Total Square Footage: 1800 square feet -- this represents 1200 square feet on 1st floor and 600 square feet on 2nd.
- Exterior materials include: locally milled barn board siding, galvanized standing seam roof, aluminum clad Marvin wood triple glazed windows.

- Interior materials include: polished stained concrete flooring, plaster walls, locally fabricated stair and structural steel floor framing, locally made cabinets.

- 12” thick double stud exterior wall construction, cellulose insulation above grade, expanded polystyrene insulation below grade, air to water heat pump boiler/water heater, radiant hydronic in-floor heating system

- On-site Photovoltaic Solar Panels
