Molteni&C|Dada Debuts First Design Project in Hawaii at The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Honolulu

The finest of Italian design has arrived in Oahu with the collaboration between Molteni&C|Dada and acclaimed hotel brand, Mandarin Oriental. Mana’olana Partners, the ownership entity of Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Residences, Honolulu established by Los Angeles-based Salem Partners, have recently unveiled an inside look into The Residences, for which the Italian design firm Molteni&C|Dada is introducing the most coveted fixtures and finishes. Marking the Milan-based design firm’s first-ever debut in Hawaii, the luxury residential destination will feature kitchens outfitted with chic Molteni&C|Dada designs.

The 99 new exclusive residences will utilize 100% Italian-made custom-built kitchens by Molteni&C|Dada with baths designed by LA-based Dianna Wong Architecture + Interior Design. Prospective homeowners can explore the fixtures and finishes in the newly opened Residence Gallery, spanning 3,000 square-feet with a replica of a model residence. To grasp the feeling of future skylines outside their kitchen floor-to-ceiling windows, for example, prospective buyers can immerse themselves with the building virtually with interactive touchscreens, floorplans, renderings, views and fly-through videos.

The tailor-made bathrooms offer two selections of color palettes specifically chosen by Dianna Wong and Molteni&C|Dada. The Daybreak Palette consists of Dada light oak wood cabinetry, Dada pewter metal trim, Dada Maxxigloss white lacquer cabinetry, White Carrara marble Kitchen counter & backsplash, ADM White European Oak wood flooring. The Nightfall Palette is comprised of Rhone camel stained Oak wood flooring, Dada Eucalyptus wood kitchen cabinetry, Dada Titan metal trim and Grigio Lido Opaco Marble counter & backsplash.

Contrasting sleek, dark tones with clean, white palettes, The Residences will blend a sophisticated Italian craftmanship with modern, Hawaii living. Dada, a part of the internationally renowned Molteni Group, is a prominent pioneer in top-of-the-range modular kitchens and has been hailed as “the Lamborghini of kitchen design.” Dada kitchens are renowned for their immaculate attention to detail, geometric color and unique effortlessness. Each kitchen is custom-made and produced in house. The kitchens offer state-of-the-art appliances including Sub-Zero refrigerators and wine storage along with Gaggenau cooktops, microwave draws, combo-steam oven, single oven and espresso machine. Molteni&C fabricated vanities will feature a collection of Dornbracht dark brass matte fixtures and Toto Aquia toilets.

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Residences, Honolulu held a groundbreaking ceremony in February 2020 and completion is slated for mid-2023. Select residences are available in the low $2M and prices range up to $35M, including the most expensive penthouse on the market in Honolulu.
