Park View: LABC Award winning Frank Lloyde Wright Inspired Home extension in the UK

LABC is delighted to announce that the winner of the Best Residential Extension is Park View, Beaumont Park, Huddersfield.
This is a sympathetic, quirky addition to an existing home, which was originally built in 1965 and inspired by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The extension has been designed and built in keeping with the original design, and the architect (the home owner) and builder worked closely with the building control team at Kirklees, who provided invaluable advice on the many technical challenges faced.
Excellent communication between the project team and public service building control from start to finish were integral to the success of this project.
