This project has gained remarkable popularity from its very first day, making it challenging to close even for a half-day professional photoshoot. However, it was not a problem because Café Polden has quickly become one of the most Instagrammable spots in Moscow, attracting a wave of attention and prompting the owners to establish photography guidelines.
It's incredible to witness the impact it has had on people, and the architectural design of the space has greatly contributed to its unique character.
When conceptualizing the design, Veronika Manskaia aimed to blend natural tactile elements reminiscent of Moscow's clean ponds district with clean geometric shapes. From the charming arched seating area to the myriad of square marble tiles embedded in the concrete floor, and even the circular mirror in the restroom, every detail was carefully curated to establish a welcoming and intimate atmosphere.
Creating this tranquil oasis in the heart of the city has been a fulfilling experience for the architect and audience alike. Café Polden has not only captured the hearts of many but has also become an iconic destination on the map.
