The Rivermont Carriage House is a gorgeous slice of Lynchburg history. Located on a private estate in the most beautiful section of the Rivermont Historic Distric, this 1890’s Victorian carriage house was restored under the guidance of the local historic preservation commission. The carriage house was built by hand 128 years ago, and features historic patterned brick, wide plank wood floors, handmade doors and stairs, locally-sourced vintage furniture, and a renovated rustic kitchen.
