Back deck designed as an outdoor room with 22’ sliding glass wall dissolving the boundary between inside & out.
The upper family room at River’s Edge opens up to an outdoor terrace surrounded by the adjacent forest canopy.
Sloped ceiling, horizontal window coverings. It seems like an impossible combination. It was a vaulted ceiling, so lots of height. We dropped a false ceiling below the real one, and installed a series of horizontal mounting plates in a gap between bulkhead and window.
