Aldric Beckmann Architects and Fresh Architectures present the rehabilitation and extension of the building located at 7 rue du Cirque in the heart of the 8th arrondissement of Paris - France.

The wooden frame extension and the insertion of plants in the heart of the block help to give life to new workspaces. The cascading terraces offer outdoor spaces at each level and meet the challenges of the office of tomorrow.

The future occupants will enjoy a garden in the heart of the block, with renewed biodiversity. It instills a spirit of conviviality.
The interior has been designed to make the working environment more flexible. The extension allows the expansion of each level and the clarification of circulation. The occupants will use an optimized space, naturally lit and open onto terraces available on each floor.

This program is part of the dynamic of making “the city over the city” and for the city.
Restructuring this building has consolidated methods and practices that appear essential today:

- respect for the environment through a clean building site,

- biobased construction materials,

- prefabrication methods.

Following an approach on architecture more conscious, more responsible, this project favors the quality of uses for the contemporary practice of buildings.
