The original house was designed in 1970 by the locally well-known Architect Donald Singer. His claim to fame was the exposed block modern buildings.

We were commissioned to do additions and alterations in a Tropical modern style. In the spirit of respecting the original house we did the new additions in exposed poured concrete. There is now a new pavilion with guest bedroom behind the new lap pool, this was linked to the house with a gravity defying covered walkway. The house is now a seven bedroom with 7 ½ bath just under 10,000 sf. The house is now mostly covered in tropical vegetation. The new covered walkway connecting the main house and the pool pavilion protects from the rain and allows for viewing of the tropical landscape including a Banyan tree that predates the house.
