A late mid-century modern house with a thematic use of architectural concrete, wood and glass that incorporate the compound into the landscape. The property with views of field and mountains is situated on 15 acres encompassed by a stream and fieldstone walls.
The house was designed and built by German architect, Manfred H. Hufschmid over a period of more than 30 years.
Hufschmid, a graduate of The Cooper Union, early career included the firms of Jen Risom and Max Urbahn in NYC, William Pereira in LA. , as well the Perkins & Will Partnership NY (finalist in the 1958 Toronto City Hall Competition)
