The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Modern Remodel

Although this beautiful home already had a pool and patio, the new homeowners wanted to make their mark on the dated outdoor space. Adding a modern outdoor kitchen, complete with pendant lighting, fridge, grill, sink, teppanyaki, and dining space, was the first order of business. The entire structure, as well as the floating shelves and low walls surrounding the pool patio, consist of large panels of GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete), while a tall tile wall provides privacy from the neighbors. The single-piece waterfall countertop serves as the perfect place for family and friends to dine, or catch sports updates on the wall mounted television.
A sleek fire feature casts a warm glow on the seating between the outdoor kitchen and pool. Custom aluminum light fixtures provide additional lighting in the perimeter walls. The screen enclosure was completely remodeled to fit the new space. The pool may have stayed the original shape, but that is about all that remained. The interior finish, plumbing, steps, and spa all received a major upgrade. The travertine flooring remained, but was thoroughly cleaned and patched.
