The red barn home was a creation for a wonderful couple looking to downsize as they move closer to retirement. After raising four children on a lovely piece of property in Maine, they were looking to scale back their home. Since they lived on a previous horse farm, and the new home would be slightly visible to the old home, the decided to go with a barn look with picturesque windows looking out over the old pasture. The home is 5 bedrooms (or 4-bedrooms and an office) with a first floor master bedroom for easy transition into retirement. The home has classic New England charm with a little exterior whimsy barn feeling.
