Maureen Santelises, the listing agent/builder and owner, and her husband created outstanding Modern and Contemporary Architecture. Inspired by a scape getaway in the heart of Orlando City, but hidden from the city's hectic daily life. This piece of heaven has been inspired in a resort living Modern Cabin isolated by old Oaks scenery allowing a tranquil and wonderful stay, surrounded by the gorgeous forested terrain of Lake Fredrica. The floating entryway staircase is made of wood and glass. It leads up to a wall of massive glass sliding doors that reveal the covered deck, which is furnished with a cinderblock Argentinian barbecue and the Lake Fredrica picture as a background piece of art. To the left of the sliding doors is an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The color scheme is straightforward and relaxing throughout white and black walls with bluish-gray accents. Despite the house being only 2,600 square feet, the high ceilings and wide sight lines to the outdoors provide the impression that you are never completely indoors. A 12-foot-long charcoal soapstone counter with a propane Pitty cooktop and an under-mount sink graces the spectacular kitchen. A built-in wine Miele cabinet, refrigerator, and Smeg oven integrate into the north-facing wall's basic white cabinetry. The façade of the red cabin is simplified by the use of horizontal tongue and groove Jatoba Brazilian Exotic Wood paneling. The craftsmanship is of remarkable quality, as is the precise attention to detail. The home has been recently listed for U$ 2.6 M by MBT Realty.
