From A6A

The direct environment of the project consists of individual houses, whose morphology and heights are varied. Located at 28 rue de l'avenir in Pessac, this sequence does not have a very established character, the setbacks on street are different from one house to another.

The project consists of the construction of two adjoining dwellings with one floor, of identical layout and composition, of which only a few facade details change. The houses are characterized by a semi covered entrance, open on side patios planted and largely glazed on the house. The vehicle access is by a central boat, the accommodations each have an outdoor and a covered place under the porch, in the same continuity.

The front and back gardens are grassed, a medium-sized tree is planted in each patio, and another tree in the back gardens. A wooden terrace takes place at the back of the house.

The architecture of this construction is discreet and sober, but very generous in light and comfort. The idea is to read together as a house, comprising two twin dwellings, which as a human face never has a perfect symmetry.
