The homeowner was being relocated to the area and desired to settle down on this river front property with stunning views . To build their dream home on this property, it required tearing down a dated 1930’s home and starting fresh. Sitting on the shores of Red River, the 1,734 square ft custom home was built to match the family’s lifestyle with every detail being carefully selected.

Upon entering the home, you can’t help but take notice of the 14’ window wall facing the backyard that allows them to take in the views from every room on the main level. We incorporated some of the original 1930’s home by repurposing the original walnut for the fireplace mantel as well as the leather doors for the home office. The state-of-the-art kitchen was designed with a large kitchen island making it an easy place for the whole family to gather while having the customized butler’s pantry to utilize when entertaining guests. With the addition of a new puppy, we added a Dog Wash Station and kennel with customized tile and cabinetry so the entire family had a place of their own.

To take full advantage of the outdoor views, we incorporated an expansive outdoor area that included a fire pit, dining area and dock to have easy access to kayaking and other water activities. If weather gets in the way, you can simply step inside the 3 Season room with its natural stone fireplace to continue enjoying the views and time together.
