BoConcept was founded in 1952 by two Danish craftsmen and cabinet makers, Jens Ærthøj and Tage Mølholm. Originally founded as Ærthøj-Jensen and Mølholm Møbelfabrik, the brand changed its name to Denka in 1976, and then to BoConcept in 1993.
