Rather, each project is seen as an opportunity to explore ideas that are uniquely defined by their brief, cultural and geographical context and the collective aspirations of the client and design team.
The practice was established 70 years ago and whilst it has undergone significant change with each new generation of partners, the guiding principles on which it was founded remain the same: Innovation, Sustainability and Social Conscience. Today these core values continue to shape the practice.
Innovation is central to the practice and is encapsulated in the Design Lab - a process and methodology for creative design. Of equal importance is our commitment to sustainability, which influences everything we do. Our Sustainability Group works throughout the practice and across all projects to develop meaningful sustainability propositions. Social Conscience permeates everything that we do.
Today, Sheppard Robson has over 350 architects, designers, technicians and support staff in offices in London, Manchester, and Glasgow.
