Steven Paul Whitsitt brings his sense of adventure and richly creative rock ‘n roll background to his distinguished photography. A lifelong passion for music led him to ply his talents in the Los Angeles music industry shooting concerts, CD covers, and music-video stills for several best-selling recording artists. He has shot live concert performances of entertainers such as Steve Miller, Neil Young, Van Halen, Pearl Jam, Aerosmith, Dave Matthews Band and Willie Nelson. For his most memorable gig, Steve was the personal photographer for Michael Jackson for a year and half shooting publicity portraits, concert tours including the “Dangerous” tour, CD covers, public appearances, and music videos.

Currently, Steve photographs high-end residential and commercial interiors for a national kitchen-and-bath-buying group. He is a published photographer with three distinctive books under his belt and more on the way including “The Official Michael Jackson Opus”, which prominently features Steve’s photography. When asked what spurs him to excel, Steve replies, “I have a deep respect and abiding passion for the creative process. It doesn’t matter if my client is a small architectural firm or a Hollywood celebrity, I give the project my utmost best.”
