Project Details:
Location: Enskededalen, Stockholm, Sweden
Architect: Westblom Krasse Arkitektkontor / @westblomkrassearkitektkontor
Builder: Vatthäll Snickeri
Photographer: Jesper Westblom
From the Architect: "This project is a three-room apartment for a family with two twin boys. The 80s typology was originally a deep-plan apartment with lots of dark space in the center of the apartment. The storage and workspace space was rearranged and the home was transformed in order to give the other rooms a more open, spacious plan. The twins room was divided by a low wall, resulting in a separated play space and sleeping area. The sleeping area was given two narrow doors, a playful twin solution and a way of giving more light to the hallway. The primary colors red, blue, and yellow together with bespoke furniture were used to give the interior a strong new identity."
