A London Terrace House Gets a Bright Extension That Honors Its Arts and Crafts Heritage

Novak Hiles Architects designed a 194-square-foot addition for London-based couple Ben and Jess that features an open-plan kitchen and dining area that connects to a split-level garden. The exterior of the rear addition is clad in pressed metal and features a frieze made of handmade ceramic tiles decorated with Arts and Crafts references, such as bracken fern leaves.
