A renowned architect transforms a 1920s home, drawing upon a palette of plywood and glass to dramatic effect. For the southeast-facing facade, which is concealed from street traffic,  Nader Tehrani of NADAAA opted for transparency, repositioning bricks to place a sculptural collage of protruding box windows and a glass expanse.
