Casa Techos is set between the trees on the lower level of the site adjacent to the lake. Divided into two levels—the public and family spaces placed on the ground level, with guest rooms and service areas on the lower level. Challenges included meeting local standards requiring that the roof have a minimum slope, and providing for the client's request for ample natural lighting. The use of terraces and patios increases the perimeter and along with the skylights, generate a interplay between interior and exterior spaces.
