The double-height kitchen/dining/living area is finished primarily in concrete—but ash wood accents and large windows keep the atmosphere light.
Before the renovation, the kitchen looked out onto the street. Alma-nac moved it to the rear extension.
The original home's avocado tree inspired the renovation's solution of a main home and ADU, which are connected by sliders on either end.
