Thirty vertical feet of glass constantly face the stairwell, providing framed views of the sky, trees, and backyard. Materia Arquitectónica co-founder Gustavo Carmona describes it as an “interior façade” that blurs the barrier between interior and exterior.
In the kitchen, a Blanco exhaust fan is surrounded by a stove, oven, and dishwasher by Westinghouse. A series of pendants by She Lights are equipped with LED fittings.
Light floods the second floor master bedroom, and floor-to-ceiling windows are buffered by adjacent steel mesh wall. A Modloft Ludlow platform bed anchors the room, and Pablo Designs bedside table lamps delicately punctuate the minimal space.
The exterior is clad in louro gamela,a tropical hardwood.
