Introducing Fehlō, Winner of the Dwell on Design 2015 Best in Show Award

Last month at Dwell on Design, maker of handcrafted home goods and first-time exhibitor Fehlō nabbed the jury award for Best in Show. Founder and designer Zac Lopez-Ibanez muses on his fledgling studio's rise, the value of craftsmanship, and why the world can never have too many chairs.

Like many upstart brands, Fehlō is skeptical of received wisdom. "I’ve got to laugh at the plea to stop making chairs," says Lopez-Ibanez. "It’s one of the best problems to solve!"

Available in maple and two types of walnut, the low back Albers chair is defined by the warm interplay of wood and fabric.
