The Bestlite series from Gubi has been in continuous production since the 1930s, proving that its silhouette and construction are timeless elements that complement both traditional and modern interiors. This all-brass version of the classic Bestlite BL1 Table Lamp is an undeniable statement maker. It is also available in brass with powder-coated shades and chrome options.
Composed of two simple components, the Brick Lamp has an industrial look that will complement a rustic interior or provide a distinctive contrast to a sleek, modern room. In two different shades of black, the Brick Lamp is a neutral light with a sculptural slant. Designed by Philippe Malouin, the lamp is comprised of a perforated concrete brick and an aluminum cylinder outfitted with an LED array. The LED can be moved in a variety of places, making it an adjustable lamp for a desk, nightstand, or shelf. The Brick Lamp’s horizontal LED is balanced by the substantial, vertical brick, making the lamp a balanced light source.
Kaamos, a Finnish collective comprised of designers Erik Bertell, Katriina Nuutinen and Matti Syrjälä, presented a collection at SaloneSatellite that was inspired by Finnish log cabin culture. They are presenting a number of pieces, including the Oma Floor Lamp by Katrina Nuutinen, which features a wrought-iron base and a blown-glass shade. "Oma" is Finnish for "own".
