CEDAR TOASTED | 2

Traditionally Inspired, American Made™—an 18th century technique for preserving wood with fire is updated to meet 21st century design and performance standards. After aggressively burning the surface layer we wire-brush each plank multiple times to remove the soft char and expose the contrasting grain below. This heavily textured and visually dynamic surface can be left unfinished or can be coated with an exterior grade finish in an array of colors.

Cedar is a naturally insect-repellent domestic species especially well-suited for exterior applications. Boards include sound tight knots which allow us to minimize waste and celebrate the true to the nature of the tree. Designed to be a hardy siding option that can withstand the most unforgiving weather, our Shou Sugi Ban Cedar Twice-Brushed can just as comfortably clad an interior wall that’s in need of some additional flair.
