This holiday home in Mexico is a stunning brick beauty in Valle de Bravo near Lake Avándaro. Tapping into the surrounding natural environment, Mexican architect Alberto Kalach has created six houses, each three stories high, culminating in rooftop gardens with vast views of the neighboring mountains.

Kalach brings brick, wood, concrete, and glass together in majestic fashion, with playful geometric shapes and silhouettes. Shrouded by greenery, sunlight peeps between leaves to spill in through the houses’ expansive windows.

A dynamic blend of design flourishes at Casa Los Ailes as contemporary elements mix with warm wood tones and select vintage furnishings. The living room features ceiling beams above with marbled floors below, while the bedrooms boast brick fireplaces and cozy wood finishes. Each detail of Casa Los Ailes is imbued with a thoughtful consideration for style and dwellers’ enjoyment.
