This tall and skinny supermodel of a home is on a steep hillside overlooking Twin Peaks in San Francisco. A 60' oak tree whose roots likely stretch to the nearby Mission District was preserved during the build and now provides shade, dappled views and a calming presence to the space. The limbs encircle the home and evoke longing in the owners' three Bengal cats. The four levels are reached by a circular wooden staircase that forms a spiral of good chi when seen from above.
