Delo House 4 is the brand's largest serially-produced house of 125 sq.m. It contains four bedrooms, a spacious living room and an open-plan kitchen, two bathrooms, a boiler room, an entrance hall and a hallway with a roof window. The layout of the house is symmetrical: its parts are grouped around the hallway and can be mirrored according to the master plan. Each room has a storage space – built-in closets and a mezzanine above the bedrooms’ hallway. The latter are isolated from other areas to avoid noise.
Delo House 4 is built on site using frame technology. Some elements of the house are manufactured in advance, while the whole process of construction takes around four months. The materials employed in the project are of high quality and sustainability: the frame consists of dry planed softwood boards, and both exterior and interior walls are finished with cedar. All planks have a special profile, are manufactured individually and woodworked by Delo. While planning, standard material dimensions were taken into account to reduce construction waste and projects’ cost.
The reinforced concrete slab with built-in utilities serves as a foundation. The project includes all networks and equipment, such as ventilation and underfloor water heating which is the most comfortable and energy efficient solution for the frame house. Due to terrazzo tiles, the floor is effectively heated and cools down for an extended period of time. The exterior walls and roof are also counter-insulated, and the thickness of the building envelope is calculated with low temperatures in mind. The interior partitions are reinforced with plywood for noise insulation.
The house is fully equipped with Delo signature furniture and household items, as well as appliances. The kitchen and cabinets are designed and produced customly. LED fixtures organized into different power groups are used for lighting. Window panes and aluminum-framed doors are protected with armored impact-resistant film. The panoramic window in the living room consists of sliding segments and connects the home space with the outdoor terrace.
