Hossle Woodworks MCM Furniture Collection

Through trial and error, Justin Hossle taught himself the process of furniture design and woodworking after leaving a career in arts management. His innate love of MCM guided him as he began, and his perfectionism motivated him to learn all he could about the craft. Justin started in 2016 in his garage and now creates furniture and decor for clients nationwide out of his 2000sf studio in the heart of the NE Minneapolis Arts District, under the brand name Hossle Woodworks. His collection ranges from end tables to custom bathroom vanities, and he's always working to add new pieces.

The Hossle Woodworks signature style is simple, clean and modern. Justin uses veneered Baltic birch for most of his pieces, leaving the edges exposed to reveal the striped layers of the birch. When designing, Justin focuses on the basics - removing any unnecessary design elements so that the beauty of the wood can take center stage. His furniture is finished with a hand rubbed oil and wax treatment.

Hossle Woodworks has a commitment to sustainability, and through a partnership with One Tree Planted, Justin makes sure that a tree is planted for every product sold - whether it be an ornament on a massive built in bar unit.
