Jeté was designed by award winning Texas native Scott Marek in Urban Reserve in 2015 and featured on the AIA Dallas Tour of Homes in 2016.
The Texas stone home stretches across the site and forms a series of exterior spaces that interlock the interior and exterior. A long sheltering pitched roof extends over the spaces to form a ridge and creates a variety of ceiling heights extending the volume of the space within. Large overhangs push past the the building walls to add protection to the house from the sun and rain. A sentinel outdoor fireplace and chimney sits on axis with a shared bridge and welcomes visitors across one of the tranquil retention ponds in Urban Reserve.
The interior spaces are open and inviting and easily spill onto multiple outdoor areas for amazing entertaining. Enjoy the sunset on the Western porch while you feed the ducks, chill by the fire pit in the yard or listen to the Spring rain dance on the standing seam metal roof.
The Kitchen is open to the Living and Dining areas and the massive island topped with Danby Olympia marble is a natural gathering spot for guests. Rift cut Oak Cabinetry soars to the ceiling for loads of storage and a large pantry is tucked away for easy access.
The oversized Master Bedroom opens to the private backyard and the Master Bath has an enormous soaking tub to unwind from your busy day.
Nationally recognized Urban Reserve boasts 50 modern, single-family homes designed by a select group of regionally and nationally recognized architects. Founded on a synthesis of modern design, ready access to nature and respect for the environment, the neighborhood has direct access to the White Rock Trail for easy access to the growing network of hike and bike trails in Dallas.
