“How to take nature benefit when we’re living inside”
The Interior Space Design is not just the decoration. It is actually how we manage the limited space to achieve both function and aesthetic as this house shown. The existing interior space was quite limited, narrow and long provided space, make the house just the typical housing estate in Bangkok even if the developer intends to provide the plenty space of land to be the private garden.
The Owner is the young couple who work as consultant and flight attendant that usually come back home on weekend. The designer team suggest ‘neat & clean’ mood and tone, perfect amount of built-in, light-brown wooden tone match with the off-white color, allow natural light to living area that bring the sense of relaxation when they come back home.
The natural light is also the key of space designing. Designer carefully think about the opening to let the natural light into the house creating the relationship between interior and exterior. The flowing of open planning and natural light perfectly connect every rooms; living room, dining room and pantry together, making the ground floor bright and lively.
The upper floor level is private zone for resting. The owner converts the tiny family room to the walk in closet connecting with the master bedroom. So they got more private space as needed.
