An original Mid Century Glass Box House originally built in the early 1960's, was completely transformed and rebuilt in 2018 with all modern amenities. Inspired by the Glass Box of Phillip Johnson, 137 copeces was developed in a collaboration between Swedish architect Iver Loftving, an Architect at Philip Johnson's Architecture Studio who worked on the iconic Seagram's Building, and Athos Zacharias, a modern abstract painter who was working at that time as studio assistant to Jackson Pollock and later to Elaine DeKooning. Two bedrooms and two baths, open living space with 9 ft ceilings throughout the entire house with wraparound windows and sliding glass doors lead to the mahogany decking incorporating the indoor/outdoor living at its best.
