A suspended concrete frame looking to the garden with big pivot steel windows -doors: the extension of a family house for a new living area and sleeping room fundamentally thought to create a stronger relation with the out side green. Behind the structural construction the intention to show an almost effortless and essential combination of basic materials like concrete, steel and wood describing a solid volume but in the same time transparent and open in it self and with the other existing parts of the house.

It’s a 2 floors extension including some interiors elements like a wood covered wall with fireplace signing a warm passage between existing and new house or a functional balust rade in steel with glass shelves playing with the bipolar effect of strong and fragile. With a clear link to Jeans P rouve’s staircase, due also the love of the client for a vintage and industrial touch, functionality and aesthetic are combined to express the poetic of the technical objects.
