The Ferrari-red kitchen beckons you into the sun-drenched great room.... not your usual holiday accommodation! Custom designs, design icons, relaxed elegance. The perfect venue to display and enjoy local artists.

Drop your bags and stroll across the meadow to the secluded waterfront hangout space, and take in the view across San Juan Island to the Olympic Peninsula....you might even see a pod of orcas heading down the channel....unforgettable forest, mountain, and water views surround you...

Back in the house refresh with a beverage and begin to enjoy the current local art works on exhibit, from exotic hand-blown glass pieces to intricately carved wooden sculptures, to limited series prints on the walls.... The Barn Gallery showcases local artists with a changing evolving exhibit. Guests can connect with the art and the artist. Glass topiary artist Janis Miltenberger featured in our debut exhibit. However, each time our guests return there is a good chance it will all look quite different.

Choose between the Kimono Suite or the Bamboo Suite, and get ready to explore the treasures in this art-filled space.... If you chose the Bamboo Suite, try on a block-printed robe and kick back on the colorful pillows for a bit. Relax, meditate, regenerate and tech-detox! That's all before heading out for your choice of outdoor activities.... biking, kayaking, sailing, diving, hiking, forest bathing or island hopping. Or just hanging out at a local coffee house or bistro. The Bamboo suite (with accent lighting controlled by downloading the Pyng app on your own device) currently displays 2 Lopez artists. Professionally laundered linens, a king size TempurPedic mattress, and block-print kimonos imported from Japan are just a sample of the five star amenities the Barn Gallery provides for their guests. Choose either of two completely private guest suites accommodating four guests in style. And ask what options our concierge service can offer you!

Your private ensuite awaits when you return from your exertions.... That big copper 'paperclip' is warmed by hot water passing through the radiant heated floors, diverted through this Art piece .... hey ho... functional art for your towels!

The fully equipped kitchen hosts high-end state of the art appliances. Or perhaps line up a local chef for an evening to handle it all for you, while you sip another glass of that island red... just ask and we'll arrange it! (they'll bring their own bento box of specialties too!) Either way everything you need to create the perfect dining experience is available to you at the Barn Gallery.

As the long days turn to evenings, there are spacious, well lit decks to enjoy the long summer evenings from our hand-crafted Adirondack-style chairs; then dim the lights on the iPad and enjoy some stargazing, with an espresso nightcap close at hand.
