Whether you’re aiming for a traditional look that feels warm and cozy, or want to modernize your kitchen with fresh new looks, you’ve come to the right place. I love blending classic design with contemporary touches to create comfort and style that are refined, light and fresh.
A new look at a familiar space! Kitchen design and renovation are always fascinating to watch, but there’s nothing quite like when a kitchen looks so good that you want to steal it for yourself. We partnered with Cucine Moderne for finish materials throughout the entire home. We used Calacatta Lucca porcelain slabs with polished finish for the countertop, backsplash and kitchen walls; we also used custom wood frame hood made by Cucine Moderne.

Since this is a coastal-inspired kitchen, I created a balance between open spaces and intimacy, unified schemes and individualized details, daylighting and privacy. The White Shaker kitchen cabinets by Cucine Moderne are solid wood doors 3/4 plywood box and soft closing. They perfectly match with the porcelain slabs.

n the kitchen, you want ease of function, clean lines and state-of-the-art appliances. That’s why I used Ilve Nostalgie Series 48 Inch Freestanding Dual Fuel Range with Natural Gas, 7 Sealed Brass Burners, Double Ovens, custom handmade Italian range purchased from Cucine Moderne was the perfect fit for this coastal kitchen. When designing a kitchen, we typically always start with the range and the hood as the focalpoint, and then we build out from there. Ben with E&E Builders was awesome, he directed me where to locate the range to achieve my desire. The best part here is the fact that you can cook in style! For me, this kitchen itself is already a feast for the eyes.

When designing a kitchen, one of the things that I keep in mind is how it’s meant to feel. You don’t want to feel cluttered or cramped when cooking. That’s why we chose materials that are more neutral and not too overwhelming.

The combination of clean lines, wood flooring and porcelain walls really accented the warmth feeling of home in this kitchen. For flooring, I used engineered wood – Copa Coast natural fillers purchased from Cucine Moderne. The key for this soothing atmosphere is to not overdo it, instead I focused on combining simple elements to create such a scenic vibe.
