Traxler 1

Traxler 1 was one of two infill projects designed and built in collaboration with Cobblestone Homes. The lower of the two homes, This home was designed to take in the views of Cleveland Park while maintaining a sense of privacy and shelter from surrounding homes. The home is elevated above the street, so front facing master and upstairs bedrooms were designed to allow living spaces to surround the more private outdoor spaces and benefit from the light and views of the rear of the home. The vaulted ceilings in the dining and living rooms allow light to trickle in from high transom windows and are serviced by industrial exposed galvanized steel ductwork. The outdoor living area features a wood burning fireplace that is framed in by a cedar cladded slat wall that hides access to the large rooftop patio above the garage.
