Our rugs are made by hand, by a family of Amish weavers. Each strip for weaving is cut without the use of electric machines. The ends of the rugs are sewn with treadle sewing machines, and if weaving takes place after dark, it happens under oil lamp light. From start to finish, absolutely no electricity is used in the construction of this product, and there is no fabric waste.
